The world lost one of its boldest voices with the death of visionary filmmaker William Friedkin last month. The director of such classic films as The Exorcist and The French Connection, he also made a movie that feels tailor-made for the podcast 20 years ago called The Hunted. Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro as mentor and mentee, the two play the most dangerous game against each other in a nonstop chase across the woods of Portland over the course of the film’s 94-minute runtime.
